Dr. Nidhi Rawal is a leading pediatric cardiologist, serving as the Head of Pediatric Cardiology at Artemis Hospitals, Gurgaon. With a strong academic foundation (MBBS, MD Pediatrics, FNB in Pediatric Cardiology), she further refined her skills through a fellowship and early clinical work at the prestigious PGIMER Chandigarh.

She brings extensive expertise in neonatal and pediatric echocardiography, trans‑esophageal echocardiography (TEE), fetal echocardiography, and interventional cardiac catheterisation for children. Since joining Artemis in 2010, she has introduced and overseen advanced pediatric cardiology procedures, contributing significantly to the growth of the department.

Dr. Rawal is also dedicated to teaching and capacity-building, she has been involved in the DNB teaching programme at Artemis.

She has a keen interest in research, with multiple national and international publications and regular participation in national conferences and Continuing Medical Education (CME) events.

Dr. Rawal treats neonates, infants, children, adolescents and even adults living with congenital heart disease — i.e. from fetal stage / newborn up to adulthood, depending on heart condition history.

She performs minimally invasive and interventional procedures: device closures for ASD, VSD, PDA; balloon dilatations; stenting; catheterisation and angiography; fetal and paediatric echocardiography (non‑invasive imaging); trans‑esophageal echo; and temporary pacemaker implantations, as needed.

She completed MBBS from KGMC, Lucknow; MD in Pediatrics from G.S.V.M. Medical College, Kanpur; and Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology from Madras Medical Mission. She subsequently worked at PGIMER, Chandigarh gaining wide clinical experience before joining Artemis Hospitals in 2010. She is also committed to teaching (DNB programme) and research with multiple publications.
