2000 থেকে, Dr. Desai has been leading the weekly Epilepsy Clinic at Jaslok Hospital, where he evaluates and manages patients with refractory epilepsy, offering advanced treatment options including epilepsy surgery. Under his supervision, over 90 epilepsy surgeries have been performed, with thousands of patients benefiting from his expertise in anti-epileptic drug optimization. He is also actively involved in video-EEG evaluations and collaborates with multiple neurophysiology and neurosurgery departments for comprehensive epilepsy treatment.
Dr. Desai is a well-regarded researcher with multiple published papers on neurological disorders, including epilepsy, movement disorders and immune-related neurological conditions. He has presented at national and international conferences and serves as the Secretary of the Mumbai Epilepsy Association.
