Dr. Heidar Arjomand is a senior interventional heart specialist and healthcare leader at American Hospital Dubai, where he serves as Group Chief Medical Officer and consultant in interventional, endovascular, and structural cardiology. Since joining the hospital in April 2021, he has also held leadership roles that include Chief of the American Heart and Vascular Institute, Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab, and Director of Cardiovascular Quality. He has taught medical students, residents, and cardiology fellows, and has held an assistant professor position at Nova Southeastern University in Florida, USA. His academic output includes numerous publications in cardiovascular disease and interventional/structural cardiology, along with chapters in major cardiovascular textbooks.
