Dr. Firas Raouf Alani

প্রফেসর Dr. Firas Raouf Alani is a highly accomplished interventional cardiologist and structural heart specialist currently serving as Director of Interventional Cardiology and Chief of the American Hospital Academic Institute at American Hospital Dubai. He earned his medical degree from Al Mustansiryiah University in Baghdad in 1993, then completed Internal Medicine residency training at Monmouth Medical Center, Cornell University, USA. He later pursued advanced subspeciality fellowships in Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Endovascular Therapy, and Advanced Structural Heart Disease at Drexel University and Henry Ford Hospital in the United States.

He is distinguished by six American Board certifications, reflecting broad expertise across internal medicine and multiple cardiovascular subspecialities. His clinical focus includes complex coronary artery disease interventions, structural heart disease therapies such as TAVI and TMVI, left atrial appendage closure with the WATCHMAN procedure, carotid artery stenting, ASD/PFO closure, and peripheral vascular as well as endovascular interventions, including EVAR. In addition to invasive cardiology, he also provides advanced general cardiology services such as stress testing, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, vascular testing, and cardiac CTA.
